DSL Connection
One of the types of Internet Connection is DSL Connection
Digital Subscriber Line Connection (which is An Advanced version of Dial-Up Connection) is provided by the ISP which provides Voice & Internet connection with a (4 pin) Telephone Cable with RJ11 jack as compared to Ethernet's RJ45 (8 pins).
This Telephone cable carries hundreds of frequencies through which 1 slice is given to the Voice's Analogue Signals & another to the Internet's Digital Signals.
DSL Modem Modulates Voice Analogue Signals to the Internet's Digital Signals & vice versa thereby providing two different connections at a time.
2 Types of DSL Connection:
1. ADSL:
Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line Connection is the cheapest DSL Connection which provides more Download than Upload speed.
2. SDSL:
Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line Connection is the expensive DSL Connection that provides the same Download and Upload speeds.
